INTRODUCTION ABOUT PROGG RF SACHET
PROGG RF SACHET contains Lactobacillus Rhamnosus which belongs to the group of medicines called Probiotics. It is used in children and adults for the management of antibiotic-associated diarrhoea, acute infectious diarrhoea and traveller’s diarrhoea.
PROGG RF SACHET is not recommended for use in patients with severe immunocompromised states, bowel perforation (hole in intestine) or patients at risk of bowel perforation. Consult your doctor before taking it.
PROGG RF SACHET should be used with caution in patients suffering from short gut syndrome (condition in which the body is unable to absorb nutrients from the food), diarrhoea lasting for more than 2 days accompanied with fever, compromised immune system due to chemotherapy or HIV infection, recurring vaginal infections and urinary tract infections and diabetes.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to have a baby or breast-feeding before taking PROGG RF SACHET. This medicine can be used in children. Consult your child’s doctor for advice before giving it to your child.
The most common side effects of taking PROGG RF SACHET are flatulence (gas) and mild abdominal discomfort. Consult your doctor if any of the side effect worsens.

HOW PROGG RF SACHET WORKS
PROGG RF SACHET is a probiotic which works by enhancing intestinal microflora and promoting colonisation of good microbes in the intestine. It may also strengthen non-immunological gut barrier and inhibit growth of harmful microbes.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Take PROGG RF SACHET as advised by your physician. The content of this sachet can be consumed directly or can be mixed with 5 ml of lukewarm water and consumed. Your doctor will decide the exact dose and duration of management for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
